Miss Mankato's History at state pageant:
2009- Kelsey
Malecha was a Top 10 semi-finalist, Overall Lifestyle & Fitness Award winner and was one of 5 finalists for the Quality of Life Award.
2007 - Jennifer
Hudspeth was crowned Miss Minnesota
2007 and received a preliminary swimsuit award. The last Miss
Mankato to be crowned Miss Minnesota was in 1981!
Jen now works at KEYC in Mankato as a general assignment reporter. She graduated from MSU in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Theatre Performance.
She is glad to be back in Mankato and can’t wait to once again be involved in the community.
When she is not in the newsroom, Jennifer loves reading, fishing, scary movies, and spending time with her family.
